The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce recently moved their offices to 1166 Riverfront Center, Amsterdam, in an effort to increase foot traffic, become more accessible and visual, and increase awareness and promotion of the business community throughout Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will be holding an open house of their new location at 1166 Riverfront Center, Amsterdam.
The new location is on the Western side of the Riverfront Center, facing Main Street near the bus stop and neighboring Assemblyman Amedore’s Office. The office features a tourism information section and is now open 7 days per week, Memorial through Labor Day weekends.
Although the Chamber’s physical location is in the Amsterdam area, they continue to serve the business community throughout Montgomery County and the surrounding areas by providing superior customer service; and information on the community and surrounding area, business start-up and micro-loans, business members, and tourist information and maps. The Chamber also has several products and services available to assist business owners in promoting their business and saving money including a credit card processing program, health insurance, and an energy savings program for gas and electricity.
The Chamber will be holding an open house and ribbon cutting Thursday, June 24, 5 – 7 pm. They invite the business community to stop in to see their new location, meet their health insurance and energy program representatives, and celebrate the opening of their new office.
